Friday Favorites - Fall Come Quickly Edition

{1}
A few weekends ago, 2 little neighborhood boys had a birthday party.
They had this awesome slide that soon became Easton's FAVORITE!

{2}
These 2 can be a pain the booty sometimes, but they really are my FAVORITE

{3}
I read this book last week and it became a FAVORITE. I'd recommend it to anyone

And Easton's FAVORITE book right now is this one that we picked up at his school book fair

{4}
Easton started soccer and his first game was last Saturday. My FAVORITE part of the game
was when he scored the first and only goal of the game! Boy was it hot at the game though

{5}
I pulled my fall decorations out as it is my FAVORITE season and this
sweet owl that I picked up at Home Goods is my absolute FAVORITE to look at

{6}
I can't wait to start wearing fall clothing, and this shirt from Old Navy just might became
a FAVORITE. So soft and cute colors!

{7}
We went for DQ ice cream earlier this week
and EK got her FAVORITE, a fab fudge sundae

{8}
And lastly, a sweet neighbor gave us their Guitar Hero stuff
and the kids FAVORITE thing to do is pretend to have a rock concert

Friday Favorites - Rainy Fall Edition

{1}
I painted the kid's bathroom a few weeks ago. It is a soft gray color and then we went for a pop of color in the light.

And in the accessories. Blue is one of my FAVORITE colors right now.

{2}
I got to have brunch with some of my FAVORITE girls on Saturday to celebrate
a new babe coming soon. Love doing life with these ladies.

{3}
I love getting these cardboard house things from ALEX for the kids to color.
It is one of my FAVORITE things to see them create it!

{4}
This was probably my FAVORITE laugh all week.
We didn't have power on Tuesday morning (the whole neighborhood was out).
I wore a maxi dress and it's a good thing I did because I looked down at my feet around 3:45
and realized I had 2 different shoes on! We have laughed so hard at this!

{5}
I picked these up at Walmart the other day and they are quickly becoming a
FAVORITE snack around our house. Even Scott, who doesn't like beans, said he didn't mind them.

{6}
My FAVORITE season is coming up and I just had to get the pumpkins out and start decorating

{7}
This necklace is becoming a FAVORITE because it goes with everything
and I can see this shirt becoming a FAVORITE too. So cozy!

{8}
And the drive in this morning was a FAVORITE because of the rain.
Though I would prefer to be snuggled at home with a good movie, I still love it when it rains.

First Day (and Week) of School

The night before school started, we were all smiles:

EK is now in 4th grade and Easton is in Kindergarten:

So proud to be sitting at their desks:

By Monday night, Easton was VERY tired. By Tuesday he was running 103 fever, so we stayed home on Wednesday. Then by Friday, we cried all day. This was the look at the end of the week. Poor Baby!

Happy to report that 2nd and 3rd weeks of school have gone much better and no more tears!

Pensacola Beach Vacation

This summer we went on a vacation to Pensacola Beach, Florida. It was sooo much fun (though there were some moments with a certain 9 year old where attitude flared up).

The view from our balcony on one side of the house:

On Tuesday, we were supposed to go for a dolphin tour. Unfortunately, they called and canceled 10 minutes before the boat was to leave. So we opted to go to the Naval Musuem instead:

On Wednesday, we were finally able to go on the dolphin tour. We got to see dolphins jumping in the waves behind the boat, jellyfish and a shark do a flip:

The newest Naval ship that they are still working on:

Scott and the kids went on jet skis. Mommy, Mimi and Pop were a nervous wreck because a storm was blowing in:

And the last day we visited Fort Pickens in the afternoon. It was very, very hot:

My favorite day was on Tuesday evening when we floated out in the ocean. Easton had gotten over his fear of the water and we all went out deep and just floated away
