Day 10 | 10 on 10 {October 2013}

   

The kids thought the clouds were pretty cool on the way to school this morning



I took a load of cookie dough to work to deliver

Easton practiced balancing on the walk into dance class. He actually made it all the way down without falling off

Scott took my car to get the oil changed yesterday and they replaced the wipers. In the process, they cracked my windshield, so now I get a new one for free!



 

EmmyKate amused herself by taking pictures in the car

 

Easton proudly wore his macaroni necklace all evening

(and don't dare tell him it is noodles, it is only macaroni!)



 

Whataburger after dance was what's for dinner!



I love that the entertainment center is constantly filled with Easton's toys while he is playing



 

And did you know that October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. This is my beautiful niece Bailey (who Easton shares a birthday with).

Wednesday - Chipped Beef (Mom is making for me. Yeah!)

Saturday - Out to eat

10 on 10 {Lazy Day}

 

 

Easton played some computer games

I got all the school supplies out and labeled them. School starts in 2 weeks!

Easton and I read a big stack of books

We implemented a "Special Cup" policy at our house. Each kid has their own "Special Cup" and they drink out of that all day, every day. It has cut down on the massive amount of cups that were going into the dishwasher every day.

I stayed in my PJs until 1pm today and Easton stayed in his until 3pm. After the busy, busy week we had had, we needed a PJ Day

We have also implemented a new Turn Circle rule at our house. Each day starts with either blue or pink (Easton-blue, EmmyKate-pink) and we rotate days. Whoevers color it is, that is who gets to do everything first that day. It has cut down a little on the "No, it's my turn first"

Easton and I took a walk to some neighbor's houses to deliver this book. My neighbors and I are doing a book study on it.

We ended the day at our nephew's baseball game; a storm was moving in while we sat and not only did it give us a cool, cool breeze, but we also got to see a beautiful rainbow

The kids also got a treat of some Mexican ice cream/popsicle at the baseball game

EmmyKate has decided she wants to read the entire Bible; we are taking it chapter by chapter

I ended the night with a group of ladies from my neighborhood meeting for Bible study;

so glad God brought them into my life

10 on 10 {June 2013}

I ran by the grocery store during lunch to pick up fruit for the kids

And then ran by the library to pick up some books for them

A little ice cream treat that my co-worker brought today to get us through our first 10 hour summer day

I was greeted by the heat when I left work today (and it's only June 10!)

Our new dog Chase; he's 3 years old and we couldn't ask for a better pet for our family

Last night we made 2 sweet cream pies to take to Scott's company party tonight
