Pensacola Beach Vacation

This summer we went on a vacation to Pensacola Beach, Florida. It was sooo much fun (though there were some moments with a certain 9 year old where attitude flared up).

The view from our balcony on one side of the house:

On Tuesday, we were supposed to go for a dolphin tour. Unfortunately, they called and canceled 10 minutes before the boat was to leave. So we opted to go to the Naval Musuem instead:

On Wednesday, we were finally able to go on the dolphin tour. We got to see dolphins jumping in the waves behind the boat, jellyfish and a shark do a flip:

The newest Naval ship that they are still working on:

Scott and the kids went on jet skis. Mommy, Mimi and Pop were a nervous wreck because a storm was blowing in:

And the last day we visited Fort Pickens in the afternoon. It was very, very hot:

My favorite day was on Tuesday evening when we floated out in the ocean. Easton had gotten over his fear of the water and we all went out deep and just floated away

Dallas Trip

We left on a Wednesday morning and made a stop in Huntsville to visit the Sam Houston Statue.

Easton felt like he needed to pick Sam's nose

This little alligator that EK is holding is named Little Sweetie and she went everywhere with us

On Thursday morning we got up and went to the Children's Aquarium. It was so much fun, even though it was pouring down rain while we walked up to it

We finished that visit with going to the Butterfly Gardens

Phone Dump {Summer 2013}

Getting frozen yogurt is one of our favorite things to do
(though I think EK loads up on more candy than yogurt in her cup!)

Washing cars is a good way to cool off in the summertime

We took Grandma and Grandpa to Benihana's for dinner one night for Father's Day and birthdays

Easton has some cool moves in Sister's zebra striped hat!

We watched Tucker last Friday while Melee moved to her new house

He LOVED playing in the rain!

And this crazy boy loves for Chase to lick his ears!
