InstaFriday

We visited Washington on the Brazos a few weeks ago and
EK fell in love with the old houses on the property.
Definitely worth the trip there!

We went to an Astros' game with our Community Group.
No matter how big our friend's son gets, I think Easton will always call him Baby Sam

It was Rock STAAR day at school (sorry for the bluriness)

Easton is very into drawing RescueBots

We painted a tablecloth for our Easter dinner

The finished product
*Note to self: Buy a fabric tablecloth to paint instead of plastic (paint peels!)

Our family Easter picture

Smiling at the Sugar Land Skeeter's game

And you have to have nachos when you go to the game

Easton was so proud of himself for climbing this rope at the game!

InstaFriday

I haven't done a phone dump in a while, so here goes :

 EK enjoying a bowl of cereal before bedtime

Easton shaking his booty at the Water Wall

 Over Spring Break we (mostly I) worked on a puzzle. I get slightly obsessed when I start one

We welcomed a new cousin, Griffin, into our family in March

We visited a local strawberry patch during Spring Break

Playdoh is a favorite in our house

My very favorite candy that my sweet Mom brought me when I was having a bad week

Scott and I went on a weekend away to the Hill Country

He was acting goofy at lunch

The steak dinner Scott prepared on our weekend away. Delicious!

Two books that I read recently. Both very recommended!

One night I walked in to check on Easton and found him like this

EK's favorite book; we've read it through twice

Insta-Friday {Christmas Vacation}

For Christmas I asked for some of my Nana's handwritten recipes to be framed;
my mom went above and beyond by making this shadow box with some of
my Nana's cooking utensils too. I love it!

EK got a neat sticker thing from Melee for Christmas. She and Kicken put it together.
Huge hit and something that we will definitely be buying again!

A new candle for Christmas; my new favorite scent!

This poor boy got the flu the day after Christmas; he was pretty miserable for 2 days

Easton found the love of car playing over vacation;
he likes to push Mater in the windowsill with Daddy

On a much needed Mommy and EK date afternoon;
a stop at the cupcake/gelato place to end it

A new favorite evening time game of pillow dive

EK has made many crafts over the break; this was her creation of fur on a notebook
and some decorations. Pretty cute!
