1. We showed the kids The Sandlot on Friday night. Easton asked to watch it again on Sunday. After the scene in the movie where the kids ride the carnival ride and then throw up all over everyone on the ride, Easton went to Scott and asked him for some money. Scott gave him a quarter and a nickel. Then he asked Easton what he needed it for. Easton said "Because if I can find one of those rides, I am going to ride it". He now carries the quarter and nickel everywhere, just in case we find a carnival ride for him to get on.
2. Easton asked me on the way to school if could have a piece of gum when I picked him up from school. I told him that he could. Then he said "Well, good, because I am going to chew it and then stretch it out really far. Because Mommy, exercise is my life and now gum is my life" I don't know where he gets this stuff!
3. I love it when he says "axealently" instead of "accidentally"
4. On Saturday, Easton had his first soccer game. At half time, he came and ate a few chocolate covered almonds. Then during the second half, he kept running off the field and coming up to me to say "I need another energy snack". We would start yelling at him to get back on the field.
