Costume Parade

Today the kids got to dress up as a book character. 

EK went as Fern from Charlotte's Web:

And Easton went as Mr. Bump:

First Day (and Week) of School

The night before school started, we were all smiles:

EK is now in 4th grade and Easton is in Kindergarten:

So proud to be sitting at their desks:

By Monday night, Easton was VERY tired. By Tuesday he was running 103 fever, so we stayed home on Wednesday. Then by Friday, we cried all day. This was the look at the end of the week. Poor Baby!

Happy to report that 2nd and 3rd weeks of school have gone much better and no more tears!

EK's Baptism

EK asked Jesus into her heart while sitting on her bed one night with Mommy and Daddy. Yesterday she followed that commitment up with baptism. At our church, you can choose who baptizes you and so Scott had the honor of baptizing her.

Hip Hop Dancer

About a month ago, EK had her dance recital. She and the other girls had worked so hard on it.

I think we have finally found the thing she loves to do.

It's Hip Hop Dance!

I see drill team in our future.
