Day 9 | Park Play Day

I woke up in the morning with a cold, so I felt yuck all day. After work, I picked the kids up and then we had to go to EK's school to pick up her cookie dough delivery. We then had to unload and divide everything up when we got home. I hate school fundraisers!

 

Every Wednesday is Park Play Day in our neighborhood, so we loaded up the wagon and walked to the park. Can I just say again how much I LOVE our neighborhood? I love that there are a group of moms that we love to spend time together, the dads get along great and the kids are all in the same ages so there is always someone to play with. God truly knew what He was doing when He brought us to this neighborhood.

 

We ended the night with reading books and I snapped a few pictures for embrace the camera

Day 8 | Enjoying the Fall Weather

Attitude update: We are still going strong with the ditch it method. It seems to be working for now; lets see how many days we can keep this going.

 

The day was pretty uneventful. EmmyKate called me when she got home and wanted to know if we could make tshirts for a club she is creating. She has this great idea to invite all of her friends over once a week for a club. And while this may be lots of fun, I don't think the moms are willing to do this, nor am I willing to host a club every week. I am trying to persuade her to do the club at recess.

 

Once we got home, we fixed the kids some leftovers and chicken nuggets since Scott and I were eating at Community Group. Then we headed outside to play in the beautiful weather. EmmyKate and the neighbor girl played pretend football.

 

Easton ran around and then posed for a picture with me for Embrace the Camera with the anderson crew.

Last Friday EmmyKate and I had a little date to see Ms. Nelson is Missing

at a local theatre. We had lots of fun on our little date!
